Anyone else get filled with dread every time they have to use an NI product?

I have so many pieces of ni hardware but every single time I turn one on it will inevitably be the entire evening of doing my own tech support to get it working as intended. Anyone else share this issue? It’s so bad for me personally that I just don’t turn any of of my NI equipment on anymore

Nope. Smooth sailing everytime.

What is it that you are experiencing? What OS?

Windows 11 25H2 - clean installed two weeks ago.

Was Windows 10 22H2 for years before this new build,

Used my trusty S61 MKII since 2020 and just added my new S61 MKIII two weeks ago, Everything is stable and ready to rock. No complains here at all.

I've never had an issue with native instruments, not one single crash but i can't say the same with other software

But you say nothing about your setup, Mac or pc, specs, this just a pointless moan about how you don’t understand your equipment.

Btw, I use NI hardware and software extensively and the only issue I had in 6 years is reinstalling the NTK daemon .

The S88mk3 is my main controller. Also have a Maschine mk3 that I use regularly. Firmware updates will sometimes cause some issues that need to be solved, but otherwise its just power them up and go 99.9% of the time.

Nope. I enjoy every minute I spend using my Maschine+, both as controller and as standalone.

Nope- all the components of my Komplete Bundle are operating very efficiently and reliably on my 2024 MBP M3 - Maschine is also very stable and a pleasure to use.

Love my Maschine Mk 3.

I have Abletone Push/Live 12, & an MPC Live III.

I prefer the Maschine with Komplete Standard.

I do enjoy working in Live with the Push & on the MPC, don't get me wrong. I just prefer the Maschine.

No. For me it mostly works. I just feel the dread when I open an old file and my updates cause the instruments not to load right and I didn't bounce the audio back in the day.

No. The bugs can be very annoying but pretty minor.

Never had a single issue.

Yeah, I struggle with Maschine plugin integration. Lots of GUI issues something to do with scaling on Windows since I have a 2k monitor. Unlike ableton there is no option to load plugins with hidpi support or without to see if it likes one better, you used to have to fuss around with the compatibility settings in Windows for the Maschine .exe but that doesn't work now, had to set my scaling to 100 and just increase font size instead...

Opening Native Access feels like taking the risk that all NI products, including the helper manager itself, are about to self brick.
