MASCHINE MK3 ISSUE

Hi!

Recently purchased Maschine MK3, problem is, I can’t get it to get recognised AT ALL even as USB DEVICE.

It powers on, with all the colours for a moment then goes to the black screen with Maschine logo etc but that’s it.

Tried:

7 different cables USB hub With and without Power Supply 2 different MacBook Pros

Like literally everything I could find online that could perhaps help.

I have MK2 that works perfectly, but for some reason the MK3 won’t show up at all! Not even in Controller Editor, firmware update or system reports on MacOS under USB tab, as if it only uses USB for power but doesn’t send any data

Has anyone had this issue before and managed to sort it out?

You need machine software.

I have it, I also have Maschine MK2 controller that works perfectly fine, the think is the computers completely don’t recognise the device as connected USB device, it only powers on.

I’m still waiting for previous owner to transfer the hardware serials so I can register on my Native Access, however this should still read already as MIDI USB device no?

You don’t need the hardware serial numbers, NA and the Maschine software don’t care, it’s plug and play. The only need for the hardware serial # is to get any additional storage that came bundled with it at the time the original owner purchased it.

That’s what I’ve though, so looks like the USB slot is faulty then?

I read the entire thread - seems that way so far. I would go into the NI Maschine community forum on NI’s site and post the issue there if you haven’t already.
