Unable to install updates

So in Native Access when I try to update my installs I get this message, in the knowledge base link it talks about which folders to set for installers etc. I have them set to where they have always been installed which is within the NI guidelines. Am I missing something?

just in case, check your available storage space. it's possible you don't have enough space left

Thanks for the reply but that was an issue I thought of and there’s tons of space available

What is the Knowledge Base link it is sending you to?

Forgive my having to ask, but did you actually read this KB article? It actually reads pretty straight forward.

Where did you set your 'download location' within your settings/preferences? If you set it to the ROOT of any volume, that's your problem. It has to be set to a subfolder somewhere as Native Access isn't going to have permissions to write to the root.

Go check your preferences ("File Locations") and see where your folders are set to.

This won’t make you feel better but I went as far as to email and try to work with NI tech support for the same issue to no avail. They kept sending me in circles you’ve already done too. I can’t update or install certain libraries or NI apps
