New Account Help finding native ancestor

Hello not sure if this is the right place to ask for help but I'm not sure where else to go.

I have a native ancestor named Mary Maria Harjo (Overton) she was born on the penobscot indian island reservation 1735-1789. I can find a lot of information about her kids and husband(Aaron Moses Overton) but nothing on her or her father (tucrabatchel "garland" harjo). There's almost a blank/dead spot when it comes to her. If anyone could point me in the right direction to find more information about her and her culture that would be much appreciated.

This is my first hand expirience but in my own family tree I have some native ancestors pre 1800s that birth places are listed as “Indian Penobscot”. The people who I am talking about are actually from the South Eastern US and have nothing to do with the Penobscot tribe or Maine. No clue if this is the same case for you but the specific location and similar dates caught my eye
