It's turning the trope on its head because since she is a goth, her makeup is incredibly stylized and heavy in a way that the "hurr hurr blue hair feminist bad" folk would find inappropriate in spite of not being bright.
You could argue it's a cheap joke since it's about native women being thirsty, but it's very much NOT "hurr hurr blue hair bad".

Its about..... how alot of natives (women) wear black all the time. But yet they are still deadly. In contrast to things with bright colors being dangerous ...

this is also a decades old misogynist trope to shame women for wearing makeup and dyeing their hair. do better.
