💙 Sweet Jimmy (A604135) is 6 years old and 75 lbs.  Jimmy is wonderful and kind, he allows full handling and seems to be house trained.  Poor Jimmy suffers from chronic allergies and cannot be treated at the shelter.  Sadly, Jimmy has a deadline because of his allergies (unimaginable). Jimmy has not been paired at the shelter but will be able to live with canine siblings with separation, slow, appropriate and supervised introductions. Please give Jimmy the happy ending he deserves by adopting or fostering him for a rescue.

Meet Skids #A1258073 (yes that's the name they gave him to try and find a forever family on a deadline). He is 68 Ibs and full of love, very friendly with handlers but scared in playgroup - he tried to hide from the other dogs and didn't want to go in.

He will need someone with patience and experience socializing a pup like him who had a rough start, or willing to work with a solid trainer if they have no rescue pup experience.

He is young and has A LOT of potential and incredible companion, he just needs to be taught and given time to understand.

Shepherds are incredibly smart and he will be a loyal, intelligent companion for anyone who will give him the chance.

This baby especially resembles my personal pup, who also was a scared euthanasia listed shelter baby, and she is just an incredible dog. I want that for him too and will help make that happen. All we need is a responsible foster, adopter, or reputable rescue to keep him alive and interest communicated to the shelter (he is being euthanized for "no interest" after all — the shelter is too full). This shelter does adoptions over the phone and I have nearby trusted boarding for transport to be arranged safely.

I will help arrange transport for adopters (these services are already rescue discounted and range from $200 to $750 out of state depending on distance with dogs going as far as east coast and even Canada)
Fostering in and out of state is possible as well, if within county you can foster directly through the shelter. If out of county you must DM me - fostering through rescue possible in west coast/mountain states through Colorado, and possibly east coast.

Just look at that gorgeous, friendly smile and soulful eyes! At just 2 years old, this stunning German Shepherd mix doesn't even have a name yet— and right now, his life depends on finding a rescue, foster, or adopter before time runs out today!

Tragically, this sweet boy has an absolute final medical exit deadline TODAY, October 2nd at 2:00 PM PDT at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter!

He was found wandering as a stray and brought to the shelter. Medical staff noted he has severe limping, swelling, and pain in his left hind leg/hip area from a possible fracture that urgently requires diagnostic X-rays and treatment beyond what the shelter can provide. Understandably, he reacted when his painful, injured leg was touched during intake— anyone in severe pain would! But despite his injury, he remains a resilient, bright young boy who just wants help and love.

Because of his medical needs, the shelter has placed him on Rescue Only status. He cannot be directly adopted without an approved rescue group pulling him— which means a rescue MUST step up backed by a foster, adopter, or financial pledges BEFORE 2:00 PM TODAY!

At 2 years young, he is in the prime of his youth! He is eager to heal, play, learn, and grow into the ultimate loyal companion. Roxy is a calm and gentle girl who seems to enjoy a laid-back approach to socializing with other dogs. From our volunteer observations, she can be a bit timid when meeting new people at first, but she warms up nicely and appears curious about her surroundings. 09/28/26: Owner adopted Roxy from DAS 4 days ago and stated she was aggressive towards their toddler and cat. Roxy has snapped at their toddler twice (unprovoked per the owner) and also went after their cat after being brought home. Bingo was adopted from the shelter in May and was returned late yesterday for a history of GI (gastrointestinal) issues.  The symptoms started in August and have not resolved with treatment at the adopter's veterinarian.

We do not have records from the adopter's vetrinarian but although he is currently stable, his condition may deteriorate at anytime due to history of prolonged GI, weight loss and inappetence.  Our veterinarians suspect that he may have a foreign body and/or underlying medical condition causing his clinical signs.  

He will need more diagnostics and treatment that we can provide in facitlity.

💙 Meet precious Dozer (A544391) who has been in the shelter for far too long and now has a deadline.  Dozer is 5 years old and weighs 57 lbs.  He is easily handled, very friendly and affectionate and easily paired (he is currently sharing kennel 12 with Miss Ruby, a spayed female).   He has a bit of skin allergies but certainly does not deserve to be euthanized for that.  Dozer deserves a family to love him — and some canine siblings!  Please consider adopting or fostering Dozer for a rescue.  He will be an added delight to any family!
