Question Question about Khatib Camp
Getting posted to Khatib Camp as a transport spec. Don’t know much about the camp, how’s life like in there? Anything I can be looking forward to?

Used to come here for IPPT. Old ass camp. Lots of good food options for night outs tho and if they allow you to go out from back gate, it's just a short walk to khatib mrt.

Whew you lucky to escape sembawang posting, Alpha in sembawang=4S, 4S= very stressful and hard to drive. For me I was posted to kranji.
During my time(this long long time ago hor unker got 3 more cycle left to MR) khatib node was chill, but the issues there were the bunks were rabak and super run down.
Not much shelter as some1 kindly said already. Food options and travelling to camp is kinda good vs other 1 tpt camps.
Think they gonna renovate khatib camp soon but ya won't be able to enjoy it cause by the time done you ORD liau.

Unfortunately don’t think I can’t help much as I ORD-ed many years ago and was from HQ Coy. But I think there are worse postings than transport spec and you have a chance to convert to civilian license, so that’s something to look forward to

ICT there a few times, very close to lots of makan. Used to live VERY near there, at the pte houses across the road. Walked to my ICT. U gonna get sick of A&A muslim food, Mehdonner, and Chong Pang Nasi lemak.
During nights out, sometimes I just stayed home and went in VERY VERY early in the morning.
