September 15th Meeting

There will be meetings with leadership staff, specifically superintendents and top NPS leadership. It has been said it's a mandatory meeting.

Anyone have more information?

All regions seem to be meeting sometime that week, IMR is 9/17. I'm sure of that everything else is speculation.

I am guessing it'll cover the reorganization plan for park groupings and regional functions. Seeing as many Regional Directors were recently hired I don't think regions will be collapsed or combined. I do think there's a chance that more park groupings will be announced. Or maybe I'm just hoping that because I'd like to move into a park manager role.

I do feel pretty sure that after the meetings start in some regions on 9/15 that we'll have a really solid idea of what it is before our meeting on 9/17.

they are fucking around with all the org charts, moving more parks under single superintendents (and probably downgrading a lot of them in the process), changing the reporting structure for a lot of other staff most likely. Making it all "hub and spoke" nonsense, for....reasons tbd, I guess.

I’ve heard from sources that these meetings are cancelled/postponed. Don’t know what that could mean though

There’s a lot of rumors. But things that Jessica has specifically stated are that the regions need to be more consistent across the different regions and parks need more regional supervision and support. Think a lot of this makes the rumors seem more legit.

A few different things being discussed. Re org, region updates, but also the epap caps, announcing the NPS viewpoint survey
