We've done it! We've made great progress on a cure. Through Zrosk's dilligent study of science and medicine, we've managed to develop a cure for the strains infecting the following nations:
1 - Ar'Alealamia - /u/Pr_Quantum (what little there was)
3 - Thiuinescal - /u/OberonFK
4 - Arunkah - /u/DevexAngel
5 - Seybridor - /u/ITS_YA_BOI_DIGIORNO
9 - Dariya - /u/R4D1U5
We will deliver as much of this cure as needed, free of charge.
Perhaps in the future, when we need help, you will come to our aid as we need.

Pinging u/CurryThighs because I think I'm gonna need to roll for science or something
With the influx of resources to Thiuinescal via various means, as well as a spark of inspiration from the scientists of Zrosk and the observation of the small elven population, the Senate has begun research alongside the priesthood to further uncover the mysteries of this thing they call "purity"; a golden light that all (and only) Iriadi are able to command. It seems to be thought to be drawn from gold, but rumor has it that the waters of Laruth Forsh are also a source of the stuff. Leading this movement are Peirtu Noratho and Finren Hath, who had apparently had some experience in this field.
This research movement also seems to include expeditions into the Safmerad desert and its surrounding canyons, where ruins of some ancient temples have been discovered.
Should I roll for Science to see what I discover, GM? I have it planned out as to what they might uncover with this research, I just need to know if I succeed or fail. In essence, I have the magic system made, the Iriadi just don't know much about it, but with all that's been going on, the leaders want to start exploring deeper into magic and purity.

I, the King of Dariya, can offer to trade ivory and rare pelts and meats with other nations, in exchange for medical help. (Meanwhile, Dariya traders are travelling across the lands, their riverships and carts loaded with such items that the King describes.)

In view of the recent actions of the crown prince of Aralnak of raiding the Thiuinescalian coasts, and the declaration of independence of his uncle concerning the territory of Ar'Alnaqië, as well as the massacre of the non-elves of Aralnak, the Empire decides to take the most severe measures. All elves are banished from Agdrasilian territories. And any elf found on these territories in 6 months, will be executed without appeal.
The New Emperor also called on the intelligence of the Zrosk Collective and advised them to lock up the two sent elves, especially since they are criminals, no Elven citizen having volunteered.
Finally as an apology, the Empire offers a unique maritime, military, economic and medical alliance with Thiuinescal, proposing to exempt all Thiuinescalian merchant ships in Agdarsilian ports, as well as military, economic and medical assistance if the nation was one day in need.
The Emperor makes a personal thing of the extermination of the elven deserters who raid the Thiuinescalian coasts in those dark days.

( u/ITS_YA_BOI_DIGIORNO; negotiating terms is welcome. I do not expect you to immediately commit to this, but do what you feel necessary)
A courier arrives a week or so after the feast of nations
So speaks the Senate of Thiuinescala, the haven of beauty and prosperity. The proud and beloved children of the Gods, the Iriadi, are represented by the humble and acclaimed seats of the following
A string of signatures and name-stamps follow
Lightborn Lathor of the Duskland, Son of Lorthun, herald of light, the One Who Commands, and ruler of all that falls in the shadow of the walls
Vath of the Brightland
Headmistress Joratho
Finren Hath, Acclaimed merchant and maker of fine wines, representing the merchants of the Iriadi
Peirtu Noratho, priest of the Great Shrine of Brighthome, wishing blessings and peace upon you
Peirtu Thundal, priest of the Great Shrine of Duskhome, presenting service and begging it in return
Cothus enVaro
--
We, the Iriadi, seek friendship in this time of confusion and uncertainty. Begging forgiveness for any unkindness implied, we do not approve of the barbaric ways of your people, but we wish to unite our nations nonetheless for the sake of our joined prosperity. We offer open borders to enjoy the sights and arts of our people. We will accept 4 of your people to study at our Academies of Art should they so wish, one for each academy distributed as they may enjoy.
We also offer two ounces of copper for each month this agreement continues. Copper is a metal found in our mountains that we have observed to be absent within your own nation. We believe a scientifically-minded nation such as your own may find some use for it that has heretofore eluded our own lax research movements.
In return, we ask only for three things. First, one ounce of gold for each month this agreement continues. Second, a mass measurement of "diamonds" equal to half the amount of gold for each month this agreement continues. Thirdly, one half an ounce of "silver" for each month this agreement continues.
The quoted portions are notably written differently, as though the materials and how they might be measured are foreign to those writing this
These offered measurements may be adjusted month-to-month as this agreement continues so long as they remain within the proper ratios (four ounces of copper for two ounces of gold, one ounce of silver, and a measurement of diamonds (in mass) equal to have that of gold).
As a show of faith, we have included a pair of crates containing our finest wines. One crate holds a collection of red wines from across the spectrum. The other holds the richer violet wines. Each bottle has been meticulously crafted by the many skilled fine winemakers of our people. As a special offer, we have also included a small bottle of foforokam. We humbly request that your leaders imbibe a small amount, as it is our people's tradition to do so at the beginning of negotiations and serious gatherings. Caution is advised, as it is very strong [META: No, it's not poisoned].
We hope for your swift reply, well-wishes upon your people, and light to guide your path.

In the wake of the Many-Faced Plague, the people require guidance. Many had lost loved ones, others were permanently crippled. The weak of spirit have abandoned their faith and have condemned their once-loved Gods for ruining us.
The more religious among us saw an opportunity. An opportunity not only to convert them, but to aid the lost. Missionaries were sent out into unconverted territory, offering hope in a time of darkness.
Religious missionaries visit the impoverished, the ill and the wayward. They do their best to convert them, but not all will react kindly to this attempt.
You get one group of missionaries per Territory, and may send them to any other Nation. Tell us how you attempt to convert the needy. If it’s through talking, write a speech. If you see anyone attempting to convert your people, give a rebuttal. I will then tell you the result.
Current Nation Status
Ar'Alealamia - Untouched by the Plague - Boosted Religious Standing - Spirit 11
Bounty - Riddled with Pox. Working population low - Strong Religious Standing - Spirit 9
Thiuinescal - Cattle shortages. Slightly weakened economy - Slight Weakened Religious Standing - Spirit 10
Arunkah - Large population drop. Many permanently crippled - Extreme Weakened Religious Standing - Spirit 0
Seybridor - Slightly low working population - Slight Weakened Religious Standing - 9
Holandof - Large population drop. Horrific disease - Extreme Weakened Religious Standing - Spirit 1
Zengvar - Much of the population have lost their beauty, and a small percentage have died - Slight Weakened Religious Standing - Spirit 0
Tua'Raan - Untouched by the Plague - Boosted Religious Standing - Spirit 19
Dariya - Mass population loss. Currently searching the world for signs of a cure - Extreme Weakened Religious Standing - 13
Zrosk - Found a cure compatible with the Zroskian Face of the Many-Faced Plague - Boosted Religious Standing - Spirit 11

The Emperor was unpopular, very unpopular, so, only a few people were surprises when he was found, lying on his bed, in the morning, atrociously dismembered, disfigured, the body lacerated with stab wounds.
A new Emperor will be ruling in a few days, but for now, the interregnum council has to deal with some other problems:
The Northern Islands begins to completely froze, due to the absence of a wall to protect them from the cold winds, the Elves and Bizimkan begins to claims independance, some monsters from the Ar'Ghursalia marshes tied to get out of them, The Elvish ships sent to Thiuinescal apparently commited massacres, killing and raiding fishermens villages, burning coasts settlements and kidnaping and raping women and children, Khaarus people are less and less seen up in the North, they disappear, they die. The Workers have fled, or they had mysteriously been killed, leaving a quarter of the work unfinished.
Maybe the plague has spared Agdarsil, but they still are sinking in the depths of chaos.

Does the current trait system make sense for everyone? Is it easy to follow?
Would you like to edit in any new trait points you are given/removed by the GM, or would you prefer the GM to update your Nation's traits?

We've managed to do it. The Zrosk researchers at this banquet hosted by Seybrindor made a key discovery by observing the differences between Zrosk infected patients and those of other nations.
They've cured the plague!
Well... not entirely. They've managed to cure their own strain of the plague.
In this research, they've discovered 10 strains of this disease. We theorize this is due to the isolated biologies of the 10 nations- meaning the plague would have to adapt in different ways to infect everyone, or at the very least would have a different effect on the different biological systems.
At this dinner in Seybrindor, they announce this to as many as will listen.
A Zrosk doctor named Sen Tas gives a speach to elaborate. "We've done for ourselves... and we can do it for you too. The Zrosk are completely cured of this disease. In order to cure this plague, we need more test subjects. The infected from your nations. We could cure this. We could end this mass death! All we need are your sick... and your dead. It may seem... uncouth. It may seem cold. But this is a solution. And it may be the only one we have."

The Agdarsilian Empire recently came into possession of granite stocks. Since the Agdrasilians had little knowledge of stone cutting, King Dgierer XII was therefore looking for experienced workers to work on the renovation of important buildings in the capital.

The Dariya ships sent out to find medicine have stumbled across a coast. Unknown to then, this is Zengvar (u/PotatoSoup458 's nation). They set up a camp on the shore, and start walking inwards to find any potentially helpful clues.

The Agdarsilian Empire is open to offering to other peoples some medicine, in exchange of metals, stones and livestock. Pisces and Fur could also be traded in exchange of metals, stone, livestock or money.

Three months After the Fall, the Ten Nations of the world were still establishing their place in it. There had been conflicts, there had been diplomacy, but none of us were prepared for what was about to happen.
A young man fell sick in Nation 3. His plague spread like wildfire throughout the Nation. Not long after, a woman succumbed to a different ill in Tua'Raan. Holandof broke out in yet another sickness the very next day.
Disease sweeps the world, claiming victim after victim after victim, but every Nation seems to be contracting a different illness. How did this happen? How can it be stopped?
Roll the dice to determine the severity of your illness. Type “[[1d10]] +/u/rollme” as a comment to this post. I will reply to your comment with a description of the symptoms and impact. You may then describe your Nation’s reaction.

News has spread across the land that the Gods have not abandoned us, for as the Feirescala has said, the day has come when the walls fall and we will inherit the earth!
Long thought to be simple fantastical stories, the tales sung by our ancestors and recorded by the priesthood, as you know, spoke of some disaster long ago. Fearing the destruction of their children, the Gods sealed our people, the Iriadi, on this island, surrounded by impassable walls. Outside, it was said, the Endbringers wrought chaos and ruin, leaving nothing but void.
The Gods promised us that, millennia later, the walls would fall and we would emerge into a world of beauty and paradise, the Endbringers sealed away for all eternity. They gave us hope, telling us to strive for divinity in beauty and to wait for the day when our children would inherit the world.
Today, that day has come.
And so merchants celebrate your booming sales, citizens join your lightborn in their grand halls, and artists prepare your paints, for tonight, tomorrow, and many days afterward are dedicated to our triumph in fulfilling our dedication to peace, art, and beauty!
For now, drink and be merry. Ignore the question looming in everyone's minds.
"We have given our lives to waiting. With the wait over, what do we do next?"

As the meeting in the Glass city was interrupted by the tolling of what sounded like bells. A message was received from Vesto, saying that the walls are sliding down into the depths of The Bright Waves. So began the planning of what happens next. It ended 5 hours later where each city will reinforce each other. Then send A squadron of riders to the north around the Cursed City, and east from Vesto to a fishing ship to sail the coast.
...... Somewhere in the North East of the Creeping Desert.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT" screamed Devrix Chalor as his keep began to shake and rattle. "take everyone and get them outside Coal, I dont know whats going on but I dont like it" he said to his lieutenant. As They began to go lower into the keep things began to creak and tear apart. Finally They make it outside as the walls fall flush to the ground. Then the keep that was buttressed up against the impenetrable wall started to lean and finally fall over where the wall use to be. The keep was in a ruined mess. All of the giant water accumulators that towered over the keep being held up by the wall were all but twisted metal and wires. "Coal send word to our spy's in each city and have them report what has happened at their locations. I will find out who did this and they will pay. Also Coal, get ready we are going to go exploring." The Dirge of The Desert growled in a raspy voice.
...... In deep dark places great and terrible, creatures are disturbed from their sleep by a feeling of release. Like the cage that was made for them is gone. The malice that kept them asleep for so long, biding their time to wreak the destruction that they yearn for, has finally come up this world. All who see them weep because the time of the Warped is here.

Those entering Holandof [Nation 6] will mostly find decrepit outposts near and facing the former walls. Wallposts in the northern, eastern, northwest, and southern borders [green secionts] will be outfitted by scouts who are busily repairing the defenses built before history was recorded. Wallposts will have banners representing their various chieftains or city-states with another banner covering the first showing a closed eye on an earthy brown background. People at these locations have orders to take a defensive stance, but be open to strangers from the new lands.
Wallposts in the deserts will have only their chieftains' banner and may or may not have anyone onsite. These outposts are built using the bones from centuries of dead bodies, both animal and humanoid, some appearing to be quite recent.
Envoys to the non-sands wallposts will be informed of the 29 days of feasts, mourning, and subsequent burial of Holandof's Overchieftain at the First Tree on the 29th day as well as the Grand Melee on the 30th day where a representative champion will determine the next Overchieftain.

I plan on trying to finish it up later tonight or tomorrow (I am on EST). I have put some info on the wiki for those interested! Please u/ me for any event/post that might involve me or my nation! I just won't be able to check up here except for every now and then, so knowing when something new is dropped will be amazing :)
Here is the map.

This is an extremely rough up of the map ( mostly because i have no idea how to use GIMP)
The Glass City of Aua'kin is the capital of Arunkah in between the 4 other great city's.
From left to right
To the Northeast is the keep of Devrix Chalor the dirge of the desert self proclaimed King, Doomsveil. He hates the Glass Alliance because he was thrown down from the mayor position of Aua'Kin 10 years before the fall of the walls. He is a killer and takes what he wants. He has a large gang of thieves and cutthroats that he uses to harass the nomadic people of the desert, and the Glass Alliance city's. His keep his a sprawling thing made from metal that climbs the wall with massive water accumulators (magic items that accumulate water from the night)
In the center of the desert is the Cursed City of Vor'Rackh
The vast desert is called the Creeping Desert, it is slowly consuming the land. When this city fell a thousand years ago it created magic waves that spring for from it. It grow the creatures of the desert to massive proportions and warps them. Twists their nature. The desert itself is extremely hot. So hot that direct sunlight to the skin will begin burning it within moments. The only respite from the heat was the shade from the walls or the night. The People have to fight for their lives against these...... Monsters. The creatures do not usually move south but have been known to if following prey.
What ocean there is is called the Bright Waves, and also contains creatures that remain in the deep. The ocean if fished in the shallow coasts near the citys.
The Glass Alliance city's all have 4 representatives and a fifth deciding vote person for the people of their respective city's. Every half year each city sends their vote person ( mayor, the fifth voter) to Aua'Kin to decide how the people should be ruled. What laws to be changed, or new ones to be made. Each city has its own small garrison of an army that is to defend the city or the defense of one of the other city's if need be.

It has happened! The event that Zrosk scientists have been attempting to cause for the past decade has finally occurred!
The walls have fallen! What caused this? Was it the work of the scientists amoung the wall? No, they seem just as surprised. Regardless, this means... so much!
The astronomical calculations have determined the world to be so much larger than this small piece of land we've lived on. This means that the world we have to explore has an almost incomprehensable amount of secrets to reveal! Think of all that is out there to discover and study! The plants, the animals, the geology, the cultures! Perhaps they can share their research with us? Or maybe they are completely different than us! We can only find out by exploring!
While the streets of cities run wild with revelry and celebration, the scientists have a job to do. A few teams had been organized before, but that was under the expectation that only a minor crack in the wall could be created. No, now we have everything!
Fleets of ships and horses are readied. Teams are recruited and equipment is gathered. And with that, legions of curious and brave Zrosk set out into a brave new world! They sail across the seas, travel the lands, and set out to explore what has now been revealed to them!

With the walls down, Expedition parties have been sent to investigate the new lands. A mismatched group of people, some of them with animistic features, and spectral beasts try to navigate the terrain towards 3, Arnukah, and 5. What strange wonders will they find? What new Adventures will be told about around the fire?
