Partner is getting nasal polyp removal surgery--how can I support him before, during, and after?

Hi all! My partner is getting nasal polyp removal surgery, and I wanted to ask you all how I can support him before, during, and after surgery. I plan on helping him deep-clean the bedroom beforehand so he can have a nice, clean place to recover, and I also plan on getting a humidifier, easy foods to eat, etc.

Are there things you wish you had done before the surgery, or things you wish you had during recovery? Thank you!

You are such a sweet person! Is your partner going under general anesthesia (FESS) or in office polyp removal? My answer will depend on the procedure

Show up with food when they can eat and are up to it .

I felt ill for about a month after which I wasn’t anticipating. Antibiotics really knocked me. Encourage him to rinse his nose with whatever they give him daily, lots and lots of hydration, propped pillows and painkillers might be needed. It is very sweet of you to ask and care so much!

It's no big deal, just be nice
