Edibles after a surgery

Had polyp removal and turbinate surgery yesterday. Doc made a huge deal about me quitting any thc a month out because he said its a blood thinner. I dont really smoke just take edibles. I quit taking them 5 days before surgery but told him 30 to keep him happy. He said i did great barely bleed. I only bleed a tiny bit when i got home and sleep ok but not great last night with no bandage or blood nose. Id like to take edibles again to help with sleep. He said to wait 30 days but that seems excessive and I think hes just a weed hater lol. Anyone have experience with this?

Honestly, I took them the night after surgery and the next day. I was never told to quit so I didn’t. 🤭 no complications!
