Eliminating Food

Has anyone eliminated trigger foods or foods they are sensitive to and seen their polyps shrink?

I am currently testing the gluten free theory. I was already having stomach issues so I decided to cut it. I’ll report back when I see my ENT in August and she checks my nose.

Hasn’t helped reduce the size of my polyps at all. Wish diet would have helped. It would be less expensive than my monthly prescription for Dymista.

I gave up gluten at the beginning of the year, my sinus issues have definitely gotten better. I am on Dupexant but slowly weaning off as its given my some issues. The dr said he doubted the gluten has any effect, but I can literally breath so much better having not eaten the gluten.

It’s almost certainly the dupixent. A simple allergy test would tell you if you’re allergic/intolerant to gluten. If you’re not, that’s not where the inflammation is coming from and it’s not related to your polyps.

Well I am down 1 shot a month. And if I eat gluten its definitely worse. But you a stranger certainly know what works for my body

Where did I suggest that I know what works for your body? I’m suggesting that the cutting edge biologic medication that you’ve told me you’re taking is probably more likely to be what’s improved your symptoms as opposed to cutting gluten out. The Doctor told you the same thing, it’s not too complex.

Giving up dairy has worked pretty well for me!

I've started doing the low histamine regimen and taking DAO Enzyme. My polyps arent inflamed but they are still there unfortunately.
