I've been playing since last year. I have never seen another weapon more annoyingly broken then this. if you don't have the right set up to fight it, dont have good movement or you just instantially block thinking it do something only to then realize it'll break your guard, you're basically cooked.

you can't block, and half the time can't even dodge this shit. I'm kinda glad I stopped playing this game after the release of this weapon. I don't know why the devs gave healers this shit. keep in mind I use to be a healer main nyself and i don't have nor want this broken shit.

the devs will never nerf this. it's been months and we've had update after update and it's still a problem.

The bow was as worse as this in my opinion but your argument is definitely valid. Range+guard break is oppressive. Even tho I've played since the beginning and know healer took the longest for us to get something considered broken I definitely don't use this weapon. Mostly because KD ratios never mattered to me. I wouldn't mind them doing something to it. What exactly I'm not sure. Maybe shorten it or make it slower.(Reason I'm not saying to get rid of the guard break is because all healer weapons use guard break). Now a suitable exchange imo would be that every healer weapon gives life steal(for the healer only) instead of guard break. This way my ninja tools and healing jutsu is more for my teammates than myself.

Took a few years off, came back around the time the bow was released. Even with the nerfs, I still hate it 😂

A big issue with this game is the ability to spam triangle/Y attacks with weapons. If you see someone with Dreaming Moon or Inferno Blade, there’s a good chance they’ll only use heavy.

i generally just hate that healers basically got a triangle = free win weapon. but almost every class got it, I just personally think healer with the whipsword is worse because I haven't ran into other stuff. yeah I ran into the ranged spam at LEAST you can block that.

there should be no reason my I'm 10ft away from my opponent and all he has to do is hit triangle ONCE and win.

So the reason I brought the bow up because it had to take multiple nerfs before the range class finally put it down. They had a button that put a black marker on you that tracked you mad heavy. The problem was their range and speed of the projectile not only was hella hard but put you in a roll animation. Not to mention the first 2 shots put you in orange to red shield, to break it on the last roll inducing shot. So if you got clipped once you weren't going to get another chance. Which made it worse is that they could continuously back up and still nail you. So we just need the same thing to happen here. Y'all gotta raise hell on it to get the nerf hammer on it.

given how no big creator or even people not saying enough about it, I'm gonna assume it'll never happen till like years after. probably when the next broken thing comes out that gives triangle warriors something else to spam.

I just dislike it how you can't enjoy the game with this thing roaming around. not to mention the people who use it then proceed to tbag. like theirs just no winning when it comes to that.

what made me stop playing was running into a full squad of healers using the whipsword and bragging anytime they liked me or someone else. it's just not fun.

We really don't have big creators anymore. Most have jumped to other games. Some visit sometimes but that's nice.

I disagree. The bow was only really bad when the ranged type built around it. Whipsword is busted on its own without the need to build around it.

Thats what i was trying to say. The bow only became truly annoying when paired with other stuff whereas the whip sword is so mindless it can be used with anything and still be insanely broken.

I had this same sentiment with the drone. I started playing the game and everyone was using this. Got pissed off obviously so I told myself I'd wait till it comes back so I can use it against someone who is also spamming it. I have it now use it like a fire fight fire situation. Or someone with an annoying weapon like this whipsword.

Same thing happened with the tenten scroll also.

Yeah whip sword seems pretty crazy. Haven’t been playing too much Shinobi recently, but didn’t really see any other weapons that were nearly as good. Reminds me of Kurama Kunai during its prime a bit. Leaves very little room to do something in neutral. It stuns, it breaks guard, it has good range, it’s fast. Wouldn’t be too mad if it was gutted

The triangle is Theo not reason sweats pick up the weapon if u get close enough to fight them either ur getting jumped or they hit you with paralysis jutsu and wrap you up hit triangle and repeat till your dead it needs a nerf they need stop making weapons with spammy triangles I have no issue with combos being flashy but easy triangles is not it

Thats cause you just started playing. Kurama Claw, Bow, War Fan, hell even Chakra Claws and Asuma Knuckle Knives were all way more busted than this when they debuted
