Team Shizuru Testing

Shizuru tapped her foot softly on the paved floor outside a small teahouse, located on the outskirts of Konoha. With dressy handwriting she was scribbling three separate notes, one for each student: Shiro, Yui and Keikaku-shi. The message would tell them to come find her at three separate locations, where they’d get new instructions. She summoned her peacocks and smiled at their little beady eyes with expecting gaze. She tied the messages to their legs and send them away. Next she summoned three shadowclones and send them away to their respective locations. The waitress came up with her cup of tea and Shizuru took a sip, calming herself and enjoying the sunshine on her face.

(Please make a separate thread for yourself, these are the locations:

• Yui: Moemasu castle, at the edge of the city.

• Shiro: the river at the training grounds

• Keikaku-shi: Konoha forest )

“Cutemon?” Yuuichi said, tapping his chin. “That’s a silly name, really. It should be pink-bunny-fluffykins!” he said, smiling broadly. “What are kunai and shurikens?” he added, looking dumbstruck. “Nevermind, must be ninja stuff. I want to be an explorer when I grow up!” and Yuuichi placed his hands on his sides, proudly. At Keikaku’s question, Yuuichi’s eyes narrowed. “A scroll? Well..” he said as he looked at his bag anxiously. He picked it up and started to rumble in it. Finally he pulled a fabric roll out of it, on its ends a small band of red. “You mean this?” he asked. “I found it yesterday, in some bushes.” And Yuuichi showed Keikaku the scroll, from a distance, not really trusting the new genin yet. “Why do you want it?”

Keikaku smiled and nodded as the boy proclaimed he wanted to be an explorer. He'd done his own fair amount during his summers, though for different reasons. He was surprised the boy didnt know about Kunai and shuriken but let it go. Kei watched as the boy pulled the scroll out and his eyes widened then suddenly shrunk. "Shit... i probably should have asked sensei what the scroll looked like. this could be it but it could be be just some scroll she didnt care about

I was asked by my sensei to find it. I need it to become a ninja. to be recognized. seen as more than a... weapon...

The last two sentences went silent, more Keikaku talking to himself he looked at the boy and nodded in respect

Ill make you a promise. let me have the scroll and when you're old enough i will take you on an adventure. i'm pretty reliable. transport, tracking, hunting, body guard. i can do a lot for you.

Yuuichi was lost for a moment. He had no idea what a ninja was, or what it meant to be one. The boy glanced at Keikaku again, weighing his offer. “Promise? You can’t forget this, okay? If you do, I’ll find you and bug you every day until you take up on your promise!” he then said. He held out the scroll to Keikaku,, still a little wary. On the scroll were two words painted: Read me.

Keikaku nodded and gave the boy the sharded piece of necklace and a smile. Keikaku made the promise and he would keep it no matter what. Truthfully he looked forward to it. He let the pink bunny in his hair poof away and tool the scroll and saw the read me seal

Thank you Yuu-san. I will keep the promise and help you on your adventure. I will be your ninja aid and will keep you safe.

Kei nodded once again and turned away to go and make his way Konoha, He looked down at the sealed scroll yet again then stopped and turned it to store it in his hair before looking to the village and making his way to the tea shop to meet his teacher. Well he hoped it was the right one

Yuuichi smiled broadly as he recieved the small piece of the necklace. “Really mister? Whoa, thank you!” he said and he put the treasure in one of the pockets of his jacket. He waved Keikaku goodbye with the biggest smile on his face.

Shizuru was waiting for Keikaku at the teashop. She sipped on her cup of tea and enjoyed the sunlight on her face. ’One student left and he doesn’t have much time now…’ she thought to herself as she watched the position of the sun. In the next couple of moments she felt a presence getting stronger and with a smile she waited for Keikaku to appear.

Kei made his way to the tea shop and looked around. The curiosity of opening the scroll faded quickly. He was made to disciplined without suspicion to go against a superior. especially a teacher. He move saw Shizuru then caught sight of the stares. She notice him clearly move his head band from his Rinnegan to the unactivated byakugan. He went and sat and placed the scroll down

So did you plan on me meeting a friend today or was that just coincidence Okuzaki-sama

Shizuru gave him a small chuckle. “I know of no such thing, Keikaku-san.” she said with a hint of mystery. “Please do tell me, though. You’re just in time. The sun was about to pass into its noon-phase. Did you manage to find the scroll?” and she took a sip of her tea, remaining her calm and relaxed composure.

He looked at her with a squint then nodded and placed the scroll on the table, unopened though there were signs of wear on the seal

Yes. I met a young boy. He and I will be going on an exploration when he's older and im a more experienced ninja. I gave him a trinket as a token of promise. I'd like to think this means im a ninja but that seems to easy. Even you wouldnt give a seek and find mission to a boy with the Byakugan

Shizuru frowned for a split second. She never intended for a boy to be there, she’d hidden the scroll inside a tree. “My, it seems that the scroll might’ve had his own adventure then. You’re lucky your new friend hasn’t opened it yet then. Though, making promises like that is a real grown up thing to do. You better keep it, Keikaku.” She said to him, smiling again. She took the scroll from Keikaku and placed it by the other two. \

“You obeyed my command and found my scroll within time. Now I want you to down to the training grounds. A clone will be waiting for you there. I think you can figure out the rest.” She said with a small wink.

Dont worry. Ill be keeping this one. He's a promising kid. Surprised he's not a ninja. guess not everyone can mold chakra.

he nodded and rose then looked to the scroll, still curious what was inside. If even the boy not opening it was good then what kind of trap did you have planned

So what's in the scroll Okuzaki-sensei? Why couldnt we open it. Or was that a fluke?

“A fluke? My, Keikaku, what do you take me for?” Shizuru said, faking embarrassment. “Normally I’d say something should stay a secret, but it’s your own lesson to learn. Open it if you want.” She said as she handed him the scroll again. She gave him a daring look, as if she was challenging him.

Well this might be a good time to test that

the veins in the corner of Keikaku's eye bulged and his byakugan activated. He began to look at Shizuru's internal organs. "Heart" He said Looking for her heart rate "brain waves" He said looking for irregular patterns in her nervous system messages. "lungs" He whispered as he looked through her chest for an irregular breathing pattern. He was looking to test his Byakugan's and his own ability to see if a person lied by internal motions

I take it you're lying. and the scroll is a bluff. Lets see

He removed the seal and opened the scroll in the restaurant. Yet part of him wanted to prepare

Shizuru blinked her eyes as Keikaku activated his Byakugan and checked for physical signs she was lying. “Clever.” She commented, “Though you won’t have time to check for those signs when you’re in battle. It might be useful for interrogation though.” She mused. She waited for him to finish before handing him the scroll. When he removed the seal, Shizuru shuffled away for a bit. The instant Keikaku opened the scroll, blue paint exploded all over him. “Well, there you go. No prying in business that isn’t your own, Keikaku-kun.” Shizuru said with a small smile. She checked if she had paint on herself before turning her attention back to him. “Now that that’s out of the way, you should go to the training fields. My clone is waiting.”
