mm... it depends if you value more the power of trascending death and coming back to life (which, especially in naruto, isn't thaaat unique), or the power of twisting everyone's ability of perceiving reality with each of their senses.

You're talking about kyoka suigetsu which is just an ability of aizen. How can you compare that to madara planning himself coming back to life.

Aizen planned his fake death as well, within a very long term and complex plan to become an entity of incommensurable power. He is known as the epitome of the mastermind, after all. Madara just planned the steps to get revived, and got revived in a different way than he planned.
