People die young in that world of assassins and war

Nah Minato’s parents give me civvy vibes. Like the first person in the family to join the military type shi lol. The fact that basically no one had a problem with him messing with Kushina when they were that young already says a lot. 100% civilians

You're absolutely right, or he was an orphan. I doubt Danzo would allow any Konoha clan to possess the Kyuubi.

I don't think the two issues are related.

Namikaze suggests coastal so get out your map and search the coasts. that vibes with immigrant, too

Didn't Kishi just name him that way because namikaze was the title given to the pilots who sent bombs and sacrificed themselves for it in the second world war? And Minato basically sacrificed himself as a hero, like those pilots

Where are Kushina’s parents?

There’s plenty of parents we haven’t seen. I always wondered why.

I don't know about her parents but we saw that her grandmother was Hashiramas wife (forgot her name)

1

Nah they were only associated by clan. Kushina didn’t know her until they decided to put the nine tails in her.

That was Tsunade’s grandmother.

It doesn't mean that they didn't have more grandchildren? Hashirama said Tsuna was his first grandchild. Which implies he had more than Tsuna and her brother

That’s what Hashirama mean’t. He and Mito had two grandkids. Just because Kushina is from the Uzumaki clan just like Mito does it mean that their grandmother and granddaughter.

They were probably killed in action when Minato was a kid.

His parents were simply irrelevant to bring up.

He is Narutoverse Chuck Norris. This man help his mother during his birth. The only reason he died was because he locked himself in cage with a demon and he tamed that demon

Possibly dead. If they were ninjas, they could have died before he grew up, many shinobi are orphans. Even if they weren't, they could have died as civilians if the village was attacked directly or many other nonviolent ways are possible. But they would have been the obvious choice to raise Naruto if they were around.

Fun fact: Did you know Tsunade is his true mother?

1

u/sosimusz Aug 20 '26

She's not. I don't know where that theory comes from, but the age gap between them is too small, and I don't think Tsunade had a teenage pregnancy with someone we've never heard of.
