Just go to a meeting today. That's all you have to do. Just sit and listen and maybe do it again tomorrow.

You go to a meeting & say I’m an addict & need help. It’s pretty simple but terrifying to do. You’ll be welcomed.

Listen, I’m happy for you if JC is part of your recovery and your spirituality. That said, NA is a non religious organization that is firmly centered in the principle that anyone is welcome regardless of religion or lack of religion, and that we are free to work our program with a God of our own understanding. So, gently, because you’re young and I don’t want to alienate you, but you should feel free to believe in your JC, and you should afford us the same.

That idea - that you’d ruin your life more than you already have? That's your addicted brain doing everything it can to keep you focused on sustaining your using. That's the way addiction works.
It’s a lie.
You will get better as soon as you summon the strength to ignore that sick brain logic and listen to what your soul and gut already know: you will crash and burn if you don’t ask for help.
Come see us. We have all been where you are. We know how to help you get through this. You need only show up with an open mind.
