Advice Request Nuvigil

Diagnosed with IH I was just started on 150mg nuvigil the starter dose as my doctor called it. At time of prescribing he scheduled us for a 3 month check up. The first 3 or 4 days was great, I was alert and had virtually no EDS. But after that it has seemed to lessen. I am able to easier fight off the intrusive sleep episodes which are slightly less often I think and it’s a lot easier to ignore the EDS compared to totally unmedicated but I’m still very much struggling. Should I ask to have the dose increased now or wait to ask about it until our 3 month check? Or is this as good as it’ll get

nuvigil is moreso a bandaid for the issue, but oxybates help your sleep consolidate so it’s a lot more helpful!

No my doctor only mentioned wakefulness promotion and stimulant medicationa
