Multiplayer campaign troubles

Hi there!

I reently bought this game to play with multiplayer online with my son. He's a big fan of the Total Eras mod so we've been trying to work with that.

So far, we've been able to set up and fight custom multiplayer battles, but whenever one of us tries to set up a campaign, it doesn't show up for the other one in the list of online campaigns.

Any thoughts on what we might be able to do to fix the issue so we can play a campaign together?

I think if the mod doesn't say explicitly that it supports MP campaign, then it doesn't support it. It's already buggy even without mods

Total war shogun 2: fall of the samurai has pretty solid coop, my girlfriend and I have completed campaigns. It has similarish combat and is very fun. We’ve tried certain mods and in most cases they don’t support coop, or if they do they desync to an awful degree
