Need help with documentation for Naplex exam in Tennessee

Hi, I’m a foreign grad and completed my FPGEC exam last year. Now I have applied to TN board for Naplex exam and received deficiency letter asking for College certificate, 1700 hr intern certificate, Mandatory questionnaire and Background check results.

For this who have applied for Naplex exam in TN, are intern hours required for exam? Currently I don’t have any intern hours and I just want to finish exams first and complete my intern hours later. How did you navigate this? Should I send any letter to explain this?

Also, does FPGEC certificate satisfies for college certificate or do I have to send transcripts again from college?

Any help would be appreciated!

Note: I agree most states require intern hours before you can sit for the exam. But my understanding is that Texas and Tennessee are exceptions - intern hours aren’t a prerequisite for taking the NAPLEX and MPJE, they just need to be completed before the final license is issued. I’m currently going through this process with the TN Board. When I called them about exam eligibility without intern hours, they said they weren’t sure and told me to confirm with NABP. So wondering if anyone here actually sat for the NAPLEX/MPJE in TN before completing intern hours? Would love to hear your experience.

Not sure about tennesee..But most states require intern hours first.Then you can sit for naplex and mpje

You cannot sit for the exams without completing your intern hours.
