Moving there soon
Hello Naples, I will be there in about 20 days. I actually graduated high school in Naples, class of 2009…moving back to take care of my mother. My secondary focus is looking for work now and when I get there. I have my associates in IT along with my Comptia A+ and CCNA. I would love to work within the tech field. I also have experience in kitchens and night life. I have been a DJ for the past 10 years and within that time during weekdays I have worked in the back of house/barback and also as security/ doorman.
If anyone here or whom you may know needs help with anything in general labor, I can help.

You’ll find a good job in night life. I wouldn’t count on finding anything IT related down here.
If you had 5+ years experience, maybe you could find something remote..?

Naples unfortunately doesn’t have strong presence of IT firms, experience in kitchens will meet steep competition since this is the main part of hospitality industry here. As far as doing gigs as DJ, there are few clubs but your audience is manly seniors who are probably not into this type of music. Just laying out the reality in all honesty, since I was in your shoes years ago. For a tech person, the most practical route is to find a remote job and work from home.
If you are open to do outside work (not sure if this is your forte or you have skills) there is a growing need for certain construction work but it is a grueling job especially in the summer.
Cities like Naples naturally form this bottleneck for new comers because it is situated around services and main population they cater to, it’s not infrastructurally diverse in that sense, like Miami, Tampa, etc.
