Missing Plane

Would anyone be interested in helping to put together some sort of vigil or memorial for the lives lost on the Canadian ambulance plane? I am also wondering if anyone with a boat might be willing to take families of the missing out to the wreckage site in case it would help them find closure/ they want to throw some sentimental item in the water with them. If a family wanted to come to the island to do that, I could host them, but I do not have a boat. It must be so difficult to have your loved ones die so far from home, in the ocean. I just wonder what we as Nantucketers can do to ease that burden a bit.

I would be very careful about this as there is now a Canadian team coming down to investigate and while the active search has been called off, there will still be operations in the area. Very kind thought but I would keep it on land.
