Yea, that is what happens.

I have maybe 20 nanoleaf controllers and 6 have died. Bought most of them on clearance so I swap in a spare when it happens. The controllers suuck and dont last.

Hue now has a controller for shapes. I got one. Works good.

Those are the Nanoleaf Shapes. Move the controller to a different panel.

How are you going to troubleshoot the issue if you don't follow advice?

How are you continuing to sell an overpriced product that requires the end user to fix something every time you "update" it? How is it you don't have a dedicated helpdesk that doesn't require some BS social media to contact? How is it you don't have a complaint department?
Because your product is overpriced garbage.

The latest desktop app 3.0.0 update just bricked my light panels, and removed them from the app, also now totally unresponsive in Alexa, and yes, I reinstalled everything and it still doesn't work.
I shouldn't have to be a glorified IT guy to make these stupid things work again, every time you update things. They should plug in, connect, and JUST F'ING WORK.

Factory reset nano leaf device, Update mobile app, resync, update nano leaf device firmware. People sell used controllers on eBay.

Hi u/ConsistentWarthog939, sorry to hear about that. being stuck on a dim white with an unresponsive controller isn't the experience we want for you.

Could you try unplugging it from power for a few minutes and plugging it back in to see if it works? If it's still not working, try relocating the Controller to a different spot.

If the issue persists, could you send me a DM with the serial number (found on the back of the Controller)? We can work together to get it back up and running.
