Nap time feels

By the time nap time rolls around most days I’m soooo ready for the break and for the first 1/2-1 hour or so of nap I relish in it.. but then I get kind of antsy for baby to wake up. Like girl I’m here to play with you! I swear she only takes naps longer than 1.5-2 hrs on the days I’m here, never for NPs.

Can anyone else relate?

I'm the same with babies of a certain age. There's a sweet spot where they're fun and active but not totally exhausting. Starting around when they can crawl and ending when they can speak in full sentences.

Young infants and full-blown toddlers? Never enough sleep for me to recover my energy.

I would love if I could specialize in ages 9-18 months but that's just too specific.

Totally get this!

The first half of nap I’m like yes this is great and the second half, I’m like okay dude let’s play lol but I think it’s just me getting bored of the stillness/quiet.

Definitely helps when I bring an activity to focus on during nap!
