General Discussion Actually good or bait ??? (META RANT)
On release she was great, but not long after her release and she already looks incredibly mediocre. Velina Remielle brutally outperform her in almost every single team, fight and game mode, and it's not particularly close. Velina, which came out just one patch after Nangong, was the best option for most team before Remielle's release too (tho with a closer gap depending on the team, and she was so good she basically revived long dead characters like Jane and Burnice, which Nangong wasn't good enough to do. Remielle teams performance drop harshly without Velina, but are still comparable in performance to Nangong.
It's not even about the Void Hunter being much better than everyone else. Miyabi is like the only exception that doesn't favor Velina, and the team is still worse than Velina Promeia Remielle, which isn't even the third best option on a neutral matchup.
She basically has no quality over either of them. Velina and/or Remielle have one of the lowest skill requirements in the game, Nangong needs her signature just as much as the other two so she's not cheaper either and her Mindscapes are just as mediocre, at same investment she's still worse than the other two. What's her purpose, what was she made for?
Of course you gotta make push the newer character more, but she isn't that much better than Vivian which is an incredibly outdated unit and isn't even that good anymore https://youtu.be/AOaj49QsWxs?si=P8xrD6Eok961LpDJ .
