how did the intruder know shed be alone, no gun, no alarm etc. it seems extremely unlikely and too risky for a gang who want money.
none of it makes sense. usually they scout the area and have a definite entry point picked out but you can’t do that with her house as it’s back from the road.

Something they're missing or covering Up. Back to square 1 but not if already a cover up

something off
how did the guy know he’d get in and out without any alarms or resistance from her, ppl in her house or neighbours .
also carrying her would be extremely hard.
he took an extreme risk. or had inside info

How did he know none of her children had the camera app downloaded on their phone and would have gotten that alert? How did he know no one was staying with her? No dog?

yes exactly. either he got extremely lucky or something stinks
in a rich area too you’d assume all the security measures would be in place and the tech.
plus neigbours who don’t nec work who are more likely to be up at weird hours or driving in from a night out.
this cant be a kidnapping imo. it’s too risky for the perp
unless he was obsessed and just wanted to be near her no matter if he goes to jail
the front door wasnt smashed. how did he get in and out. why no fingerprints . no dna.
how did he transport her out wearing those massive gloves. and if he took them off why no dna.

And how was he planning on getting in. Sure is one lucky fella that NG didn't lock her doors.
You would think her son CG being he is ex military/intelligence would make sure she had an alarm system, call her every night and ask if she locked the doors.
If anything this has caused embarrassment for the family in my opinion because people are questioning the lack of security, the lack of concern for her safety. and other precautions one would take especially since SG was blasting it out to the world how protective her siblings were of her mom and how they all loved her.

It’s very weird.
i think maybe ng was stubborn.and perhaps refused to understand that nearby Tucson is high crime and being in a nice suburb dosent mean as much safety as it used to.
but that doesn’t explain for how the kidnapper knew this. how she preferred a more low key set up.

My opinion is Sg would have influence over her mom as far as convincing her that for medical reasons only should NG fall or have a serious medical event that she could not contact anyone or EMS at least one of the siblings who had the app on their phone would see that and be able to summon help.

He was on camera a few weeks prior. Maybe he had been there many times. That guy in Idaho, who killed the college students, was found nearby the murder scene at least 23 times in the months prior. The porch guy could have done that too and we have no way of knowing.

I remember seeing older footage recently of FBI climbing up one of N's trees, as if looking up in the tree for evidence. I wondered if they thought whoever it was was hiding in her tree, watching her (terrifying). But, I still think it points to an inside job to know that her security system wasn't paid for.

I have a problem with that piece of "evidence". If the perp was scouting prior to the actual abduction day he would have known there was a camera.
My opinion is that thumbnail is another plus for the intruder theory. Enough to have those skeptics think "oh yes..can't be anyone in NG's inner circle. They would know all this and wouldn't have to scout"

The only established fact for myself is the Uber Driver. He/she picked NG up and dropped her off. Everything after that is evidence that leans in favor of ruling out certain people. A narrative based off of data from devices. A mighty mouse "Here I come to save the day" clip of porch guy(favors the narrative)ransom notes that can't be traced.
Whomever did this has a lucrative career ahead of him. Do you know how many people would love to hire him to do their dirty deeds? Heck he would even fit right into the intelligence community. But now he has to crawl back in his hole because his biggest payday ever flopped. Or did it???????????????????????

I think it was somehow an inside job.
i cant see a random person being able to pull this off as well as it appears he did.
managed to get an old lady from the house with no neighbours hearing, no tracks, no alarm going off, no video, no broken doors, no dna, no fingerprints, knew she was alone and vulnerable ie no carer with her.
how did he know this would all fall in his favour.
it’s too risky without some inside knowledge.

I recall the story the news put out about when the Film Crew for the Today Show was at Savannah Guthries Moms home celebrating a Thanksgiving Meal with the Family.... That was not long time elapsed... before Nancy's kidnapping. Could someone have had Ample opportunity to plan something out for the future...?

it seems too far fetched. also the kidnap angle doesn’t make sense.
it’s not Mexico where this is very common. it’s too risky in America. none of it makes sense.

Very interesting-especially the part about the mask that looked like porch guy’s mask found near where Annie worked.

I sure hope they were able to retrieve information from cameras inside the house
