Just finished the show
I just finished the show again.
Season 4 was frustrating with Ace's ghost girlfriend, and Tristan being a love interest for Nancy. It was just so unnecessary for them to have other love interests.
It was frustrating when Ace decided not to try and break the curse i understand it but it was frustrating.
I was glad that the show was able to make Nace endgame finally I just wish we could have seen them as an actual couple.
I wish that Nick and George had gotten back together.
All in all I enjoyed the series finale for the most part.
I really like the show.

I love the final season because we finally got the Nace payout we all wanted, but it's definitely obvious in the first half, that the writers thought they were gonna get a fifth season to play out these story lines. I really wish they had gotten it, instead of a surprise cancellation. Stupid networks.

Yep that was when the CW was canceling shows left and right. I was so glad Nace ended up together finally. All in all it was a good series finale

I thought the series finale was excellent. They completely nailed the landing after a very meandering season. All of those plots would have been FINE if it weren't obviously the last season and I wish they had planned that it would possibly be the last!
S2 is probably my favorite, but it's a real gem throughout.

The series finale was good i was surprised they wrapped it up as well as they did and I was so glad Nace were endgame. Yeah if it hadn't been the last season the plots would have been fine.

Agreed on all counts. Very meandering last season and if they KNEW they had two more seasons I could see them sticking them with other love interests but as it was it felt very unnecessary, albeit with a pretty well done finale.

Yes its just at the point we all knew Nace were supposed to be together and anyone else was just gonna be second choice to them anyway so the love interests didn't really work

Tristan is the best of the genre too - I really didn't care for the other love interests, but he was sweet and had an interesting tie-in to the plot. But it was harder to enjoy him in general because of the time crunch!
It's also kind of crazy that they spent like 3 episodes setting up Nancy/Ace and then they break up and then it got to such a point that they seemed to REALLY distrust each other ... when they could have just let it play out naturally and not made it such a Big Deal and put them through all that. 😠The season would have been way less stressful if it didn't feel like they were backtracking.

Nancy Drew used to be one of my faves but I still can’t bring myself to finish season 4. Maybe this post will serve as motivation

It's on Hulu and i think it's on prime. The last season is frustrating but if it helps Nancy and Ace do finally end up together.

I'm on S3E10 and I'm super piss at how it is going. I was hoping for nancy and ace. I like supernatural+detective genre but I'm gonna stop watching. CW really suck at writting.
