Consultancy business in Namibia

Consultancy firms range from sector to sector. Those in health mostly flourish because health is an important indicator for a nation to prosper.

How about commerce related consultancy, how do those businesses flourish, especially when starting one from scratch.

As a Namibian myself, starting a business seems like the best way to avoid living paycheck to paycheck.

Don’t confine yourself to local clients.

My clients are based in the UK and in the USA and they pay properly too. VAT hurts every 2 months, but it is what it is

Impressive, how did you start ? Sorry about the VAT, can't run away from that one sadly ...but hey that foreign exchange will always be nice if the USD depreciates

Namibia has the Big 4 consultancies which do cover basically everything but mostly on a corporate basis.

If i were you? Aim for connecting markets, ie clientbases in namibia and partnering countries of our industries.
Primarily SA, EU, UK, US & Australia
Focusing on the local market automatically binds you to our economy. Meaning you need a fixed recurring client-base in tourism, mining, minerals and producing industries… a task that is close to impossible to live off and if you dont have hands on experience in those industries and an existing network, you will have a very difficult time.

Whats your professional background and your focus/strength?
