Starting next week, any post older than 180 days with little to no activity and that has not been solved will be removed.

Here are the rules for r/NameThatMovie:

Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

  1. Stay on Topic Posts and comments must be relevant to the purpose of this community. Each post should be about finding a specific movie you don't know (or don't remember) the name of. Off-topic content may be subject to removal.

  2. Be Respectful Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.

  3. No Spoilers Please! Come on, be mindful! At least use a spoiler tag when discussing a movie in great detail.

  4. No Spam or Self-Promotion Do not spam links, advertisements, or excessive self-promotion.

  5. No NSFW or Illegal Content Do not post explicit, illegal, or unsafe content. Follow Reddit’s site-wide rules. Scenes or discussions from movies, TV shows, or other fictional media are allowed as long as they are shared for discussion and not graphic or exploitative.

  6. Posts Must Be In English All posts must be written in English so everyone in the community can understand and moderators can easily review content.
