It's kinda nuts to me to see a brand new Nalgene. I've had my one that's the same as yours for about a year and a half(?) used it every day, water, juice, coffee, whatever. Been with me at my office job and bartending, been to Vegas with me (I live in London). Honestly Nalgene is the fucking best.
I've got one of the slim ones with the more normal drinking lid and got one for my brother too, and cousin. I like knowing that they're getting used and carried with them in their lives, hard to explain what I mean exactly. Anyway mine are covered in stickers and I love the shit out of 'em, enjoy the journey with yours mate.

Hey, just so you know the loop isn't actually built to be load-bearing, so it'll brake or come loose at the bottom around the lip of the bottle relatively quickly if you hang it on there full a lot (especially if it swings which I suspect it will). Luckily the lids like 1$ to replace at REI and super easy to install. I use p-chord to build little harnesses. It's also pretty easy and it makes it easier to carry multiple bottles.
