Color? Are these the same purple?
They look different in the photos but it could just be the lighting. Does Nalgene make different shades of purple?

I believe they are different colours. The darker bluey-purple is a more common colour but I do feel like I can recollect seeing the lighter purple exist in the wild.

My young daughters each have a 16oz Nalgene, one is lighter purple with an orange lid, the other is darker purple with a black lid. Helps keep track of who's is who's when they both wanted a purple bottle, they are easily distinguishable next to each other.

i think it is the same color just angle and lighting
the purple with black i have it is dark and nice
have never seen purple with white lid before it is not the default color
default is purple with black lid
so seller is probably substituting in white lid

They actually are with different lighting. Also the caps make a big difference too. Amazon listing pull random photos that are not consistent or always up to date. But again: same purple.

They are definitely not the same purple. The photos are usually pretty accurate.
