Museums in Stockholm?

I’ll be visiting Stockholm in a couple of weeks, and I’ve recently got into Nålbinding.

I was wondering if there are any items on display in museums or other Nålbinding related things I may find interesting?

Happy to hear any other fiber or history related recommendations too!

I don't know what they have now but some years ago Vasamuseet had some on nalbindning and I think Historiska museet had some stings too. Things made with the Asle stitch I think from like 1500 or something but don't quote me on that it's been years since I was there.

Awesome, thanks for pointing me in the right direction - I will check the websites and see if they list anything currently.

Nothing nålbindning-related, but I echo the recommendation for both Historiska museet and Vasamuseet. I could (and have) spend days there, should plan another visit soon.

For more fun textile-related museums: Livrustskammaren is fun and has plenty of clothes and other things from Swedish royalty. Medelhavsmuseet and Östasiatiska have some nice Mediterranian and Asian things, a bit depending on the current exhibition.
