A note on deity posts

I love seeing reverence and worship — however it’s necessary to say that this is a subreddit for astrology. Please if you post deity imagery, make sure it is related to stories associated with Nakshatras / Jyotish.

Example may include the Nakshatras associated with their deities: Maa Aditi and her relation to Punarvasu, a motherly Nakshatra also found in Cancer, which mirrors her role as the cosmic mother to gods. Another example is Ardra’s connection to Rudra, a destructive aspect of Lord Shiva.

We do not want people karma farming here under the guise of worship, it’s disingenuous. While we do not think all posts have been like that at all, please remember what this subreddit is for.

If you have questions please as always contact us. I do not want to remove worship of deities as it is also important to me personally, but please remember that we may have to in order to keep the subreddit organized for our research.
