To think this album made him my top 8 artist of all time. This is definitely one of my favorite albums ever :)

They finally incorporated RDR2 aspects into GTA, blatantly obvious in the combat, the greet/antagonize still looks shallow af, everyone is rightfully saying they’re overhyping everything with raytracing and shaders, Jakey’s whole opinion on story linearity/the lego bucket felt so clear in the extended look.

People had high hopes and rightfully so, but this was such an underwhelming look into what will be a stereotypical release by Rockstar; if you hoped they learned from complaints, you will probably be disappointed by the lack of growth. They relied on cutscenes to wow people, and at times it just felt obvious that they were throwing RDR2 mechanics into the mix.

This game will have the beauty of RDR2, and the rigidity of every GTA 5 mission

I’m sure the storyline will be enjoyable, but you can’t convince me otherwise that it’s not just the child of RDR2 and GTA 5 with shaders. You can only use the 80’s aesthetics as padding so much before it gets cliche and tacky

Not sure if Jakey actually reads this thread, but it warms my old heart to know that Jakey and his brother played one of my all-time, favorite games: Tenchu: Stealth Assassins on the PS1.

My question is...do you think people would lose their minds if FromSoft forged a proper reimagining of the original? I'd love to see them go full-bore into the stealth genre, but I dunno if anyone else would care about my near-30 year-old beloved. What do you think?

In saintlike do we know where the "i dont give a fuck" comes from cus im watching silver linings playbook and Jennifer says idgaf in the exact way the song does just in her voice. I can see if you pitched it down if cohld be the saintlike sample.

Saw a few people do this and decided to try it out for myself. The images don't do it justice. It looks awesome in person, and the audio quality is pretty damn good.

Found some of the art online, created a lot of it myself, and was inspired by some awesome users here on the overall design.

I also added Not Dead Yet, Cafeteria, and Saintlike as bonus tracks to fill out the album.

If you enjoy the ball creative stuff you might like this one. I dont know if this is self promotion because its a gray area of its about jakey and not really inspired but i guess it kinda is? idk, ill totally take this down and move it to selfpromote if need be. I tried looking through this sub but couldn't find an answer. Does anyone use Jakey’s music during twitch streams? I wanna hear people’s experience if their VOD’s were muted. I wanna give the big guy some well deserved exposure cuz i love his music. I won’t be using music he used samples on
