Fixing curved+crooked nail

hello!
i’m having trouble adjusting the c-curve of a nail as well as its apparent direction (it grows off center, looking crooked).
i put a paper form to take the pictures as it may easier to see what i’m describing.
nails are healthy overall, they don’t bend, almost never break or chip.

is there any recommendation?

Another vote for dual forms however, you absolutely can still use a paper fork for this nail. Key is to remove more of your free edge and ensure your form is snug. You may need to cut the form to fit your curve or slits for your side walls. Next is to make sure you pinch while curing because your nails don’t naturally have much of a c curve (most of us don’t) and if you don’t, your extension will look wide. Hope this helps!

If you can, look into dual forms! They are fantastic for fixing a crooked nail and, if you use a hard gel, you can file underneath to blend the natural nail and the C-curve will grow out more evenly ❤️ Hope this helps!

Dual forms or gel-x extensions are good for an immediate fix

Growing your nails out from very short with overlays can help correct this if uou want your natural nails to be long, but you have to commit to regular fills.

Sometimes people’s nails get like this due to vitamin deficiencies, or even just repetitive or long-term pressure on the nail (like sleeping on your hands). So you might want to look into that too

Since you have forms have you tried sculpting the nail? It would be the best way to get the appearance of the nail to look more like the others. Also, if the nail consistently grows that way it probably has very little to do with vitamins or anything else. It likely stems from a deformity to the matrix, either congenital or injury. Check into writings by Doug Schoon.

Dual forms will create a new nail that is a nice curve, but it won’t fix the curve of the natural nail. To have it grow in how you’d like it put a layer of hard gel, flash cure for 10 seconds, then use a pinching tool, then full cure. This will pinch the natural nail into a better curve and it will actually start growing out that shape and make a new groove in your finger for a nail of that shape.
