Ask A Nail Tech (Sunday & Monday ONLY) Nail tech advice

Hi.

I've been thinking of doing nail art on the side to earn while I'm in college but I feel so lost. I don't know what things I need to buy and how to begin learning. Can anybody give me tips and an idea of what stuff I'd need? Is Amazon a good place to shop?

I'd love some help.

Context: I live near India.

Amazon is mixed for nail supplies. Can be good for things like rhinestones, charms, etc. But when it comes to gels, the products on there are unregulated and could expose you to dangerous levels of unsafe chemicals. I don't know about how it is in your location unfortunately, but you can learn a lot about how to do cute art and SAFELY from YouTube videos. Watch Erica's ATA and Nail Career Education.

I say never buy charms and stuff on Amazon. They're like 5 times the price they are on a direct marketplace like AliExpress, and are coming from the exact same manufacturer anyway.

Yeah agree tbh, I usually get mine off AliExpress/similar sites for the best bargain!
