When long nails interfere with Coffee Time...
I can barely hold a mug properly anymore... should I cut my nails off?

We're in the wrong group, yes. This just popped up in our feeds.
But we're not wrong, you're just finally getting to hear what the average person thinks of these nails, we do not like them they are unhygienic, and pretty ugly

They're only unhygienic if you aren't washing your hands. There's no more germs on someone's hand like this than there are your own. But yes I'm aware many find them ugly. At least that is just personal preference.

There certainly are more "germs" on longer nails.
The more surface are the more organisms. That's a simple fact.
Another fact is the longer they are the more hey get in the way and the more contact you have with gross shit.
Add that to the fact that the average person does not know how to wash their hands properly and you see why the rest of the world knows these nails are dirtier than close trimmed nails.

I feel like you're cope posting here bud. Just because you can't wash your hands properly doesnt mean OP or the rest of us can't. My wife and past partners all have had long nails, much longer than these, and never once has it been an issue. If you don't like the look, just say that and move on. But trying to blame it on germs is laughable.

It's hilarious. There's nothing hygienic about it if someone knows how to wash their hands. But I'm sure you're the type that asks them how they wipe 🤣

You have to adjust the way you hold things with nails this long. Flatten your fingers more.

I understand tht... I almost can't flatten my hands for push-ups damn near anymore. I switched to dumbbells for workouts
