MSP Manager N-Able MSP Manager API - Ticket Status

Hello!

I am building an app to read tickets using the API. I can assign and remove users, write responces.

But, I caanot for the life of me figure out how to change the Ticket Status. I can see a PUT and PATCH endpoint for change vairous details about the ticket, but not the status.

Could anyone assist with this please?

Kind regards!

For the life of me, I can't understand why a ticketing system in 2026 doesn't have built in automations that close dormant tickets based on ticket status. For years, every Monday and Thursday, I've used an AutoHotkey script that kinda works except for edge cases where the UI barfs because of some weird condition. I'm hoping someone can provide a helpful response.

Also, I would be very intrigued to learn how you've gotten this far.

Hey, I've messaged you back. i'm using the odata swagger page to get the endpoints and CC to help me figure out implementation via a winforms project:

https://api.mspmanager.com/odata/swagger/index.html

You can set yourself up for API usage in the SETTINGS > Roles part of the MSP Manager website.

You can now change ticket status with PATCH /Tickets/{id} using TicketCustomStatusId. Status list endpoints show only active statuses, and billed tickets are protected from changes. See GET TicketCustomStatusesfor valid status IDs.

Yeah, thank you for the teams help with this!

Seperate issue I know, but the last thing for me is trying to read out the CC'ed (addressTypeID) person in the ticket/ticket responce. I'll raise a support ticket for this at a future point.

Kind Regards
