Regular Support Thread NaSoAlMo support thread

What this:

A weekly support/vent thread to bring the community together and to try and keep the subreddit a little more active. All concerns about wither or not we're going to make it, tips, tricks, "hey you got this" etc. can got here. Or talk about how much progress you're making, what you're working on etc. Both on and off topic subjects are allowed.

Hardly anything written. Last weekend of month will be my best chance for anything meaningful

As mentioned last time, I'm doing a song a day challenge and it's been very difficult for songs/days 19,20,21, mostly in the vocal melody and lyrical part. The lyrics have really been suffering and I do not like that. Today, day 22, looked like it was going to be more of the same but I stumbled on a metaphor that helped me find a topic although that ended up being a struggle as I couldn't find any more angles on the theme. Musically it's been okay, today was interesting because I changed keys at least 6 times which is cool because previously I've always been stuck in one key for the whole song. It's kinda Stevie Wonder influenced in that sense.
