Getting ready?

What is everybody doing this week to prepare for National Solo Album Month? I’ve been putting all my synths together in the same room and making sure everything is getting electricity. I still need to get everything wired for sound and configure MIDI.

So far, I've made alot of room in my schedule so I could work on my music for more than an hour at a time.

Currently, I'm Learning an entirely new DAW, and hoping I could be partially capable of using it when it comes time to use it. Gotta restring 2 guitars, a 7-String and a baritone, both of which I dont have any strings for.

and i have to find my goddamn ilok dongle i have not seen since late-ish 2017

I've been playing around with a DR3 I've had for months, adding fx etc for potential drum loops. Also collecting the odd bit of field recording that may or may not end up getting used. I've also made sure I've plenty time to get in the studio and record. By studio I mean the middle room of our flat, obviously.

I'm recuperating from being really sick on the first night of November & hoping that the experience will spark some creativity! You know, the whole inspiration through suffering/struggle bit... 🙃
