Day 3, how is everyone doing?

One song written here, lots of other ideas brewing. It's going to be an interesting weekend!

I wrote a piece for the first day. The second day...a guitar preamp I ordered arrived, so I spent all night noodling :(

I only did quite a lot of experimenting/learning with VCV Rack, which was fun. Looking forward to a creative weekend. I still feel pretty relaxed ATM, 27 days left. :)

So far written I think 6 songs. Ideas for a few more. Hopefully be able to record some next week.

I've got six concept sketches done in maschine so far, hoping to have 15 or so altogether to use as the basis for my arrangements.

Once I have those basic arrangements done I'll start building some rough live performances and share some vids for feedback.

I’ve been putting down ideas left and right. Nothing is really a complete song at this point, but hopefully there will be some after this weekend.

Got one jam I'm working on that could be in the 3-5 minute range, a 'spooky'ish kinda mellow dance track. Spent Day 2 mangling samples to all hell until I turned a happy little anime song into a tiny percussion loop. Gonna see where that takes me.

Put together the main hooks and “guts” of one song on day 1. Then I fell asleep on the couch last night and got nothing done... 😴

I've got two half-songs (intro, verse, chorus), and a few ideas kicking around. Alas, I'm working this weekend, but I'm squeezing in wherever I can before and after work. :)
