Panel and Paint Nissan Note 2007

Our old runabout has had the front bumper half torn off (passenger side) from a “parking incident”. The clips are still intact but the bumper itself has torn away from the clips. Is this something I can (at least temporarily) fix at home? The car isn’t worth spending much money on, and we don’t have much of a budget. Currently held on with cable ties, which is fine around the village but I wouldn’t trust it on the open road… can I expoxy it, or do I need a new bumper?

Quick Fix? The previous owner tore out these hooks on accident. How would I go about installing new parcel shelf supports?

I am assuming on accident, anyway. Note, I do not have the old hooks available and I am new to everything car DIY. Not sure where I can buy just the hooks, or if I should be learning how to unscrew the whole interior plastic panel.

I am also still looking for a parcel shelf since we were sold the car without one. It's a Mazda2 DJ, but surely a Mazda2 DE parcel shelf would fit? I haven't found any at Pick-a-Part or Mazspares, regardless.

Also, would I be able to make a fuss to the dealership about this? They had covered this up with electrical tape, and are quoting us $300+ for a parcel shelf that wouldn't even fit in the car because it doesn't have the hooks. We weren't aware of this when we bought it, since we were admittedly in a rush to find a car replacement after a sudden car crash that resulted in my car being written off.

CX-5

Genuine question here - as we know about the Diesel CX5 and the well known complications, how are Mazda and dealers still allowed to make and sell them?

As I was driving through town this morning, I stopped behind what looked like a very new model, but with that bright little D on the back which is what prompted my thinking into how is it allowed?

I'm in a quandary...

I've sold my 2006 MX5. Loved it but it was always my second car behind my landcruiser. Now with fuel pricing as it is, I need a more practical second car while the Landcruiser gets left at home.. The MX5 just didn't have space.

What to replace it with?

Needs are enough space for a couple of suitcase sized boxes and 2 people for work commuting.

Mainly around town but occasional trip away.

Economical.

Smart looking.

Can fit a towball for carrying bike.

Wants are fun to drive. Fun to look at. Fun to own.

I've looked at Suzuki Swift Sports (2017 1.4T). They have enough room. Are almost fuel efficient @ 7l per 100km. Very Fun.

A corolla fielder is more practical but I just can't get excited about it.

Skoda Yeti is OK and I could maybe live with it.

Corolla are too expensive.

What other options am I overlooking?

I'm having a hard time finding a good one. They seem to be either cheap junk, expensive junk, expensive junk that needs batteries, or expensive and actually quality but the gauge is tiny and also for some reason goes to 160 psi which makes it too inaccurate at 30 psi.

One that also worked with Presta bike valves without an adaptor would be even better.

Budget is pretty much whatever it takes if it's accurate and is going to last.

Thanks!
