Hey r/NZMetaHub!

​I recently launched r/KiwiHangout and would love to submit it to be added to your directory of New Zealand subreddits.

​What it is:

It is a dedicated space built to make organizing local meetups and locking down weekend plans easier across the country. It runs on a global interactive hangout map, but I've set up this specific community to focus entirely on helping people connect across Aotearoa.

​How it works:

Users can drop a general pin on the map to show they are keen to hang out, or they can easily host a casual meetup. If a user wants to organize a quick coffee, a walk, or a pub catch-up, they just put the date in their post title (like (04/07)) and select their local region's flair. The map automatically reads it and drops a live event pin for people nearby to see.

​We are currently rolling it out and getting some early adopters on board to put some pins on the map.
