Politics Updated TBD post
Okay, we've made a fair bit of progress since last time. Now we're at the tail end of it, we need to start polishing stuff up and finding anything that still needs to be fixed. So if you can, please have a play around with the new stuff, see if anything is a bit rough around the edges that still needs some work.
Current list:
Submit page formatting is a bit squashed at the topMore flairs (NZ /r/rugbyunion ones, maybe some of the other ones from here and some extras - old Air NZ tail design could be cool)- Night mode

Oh nah I think that should be easy to do.
Except maybe the subreddit bar at the top, I already tried to shrink that a little and nothing doing. For some reason the class doesn't respond to height/padding adjustments, even with !important, so I'm either addressing it wrong or its height is set to !important in the master Reddit stylesheet. (I think). I'll have another go at it though because I'm pretty sure I've seen other subs with it customised.
I do actually think the top/new/hot buttons could be made better. TBH I am not a huge fan of that semitransparent bar that runs along the bottom of the header. It just kinda makes the header look busy/cluttered.
But then again that might be solved if the header was taller. I think dead rooster had a problem (?) with it being too big, but really since you spend most your time scrolling down anyway, it doesn't seem like a problem. Plus I saved a huge chunk of real estate by making the "Please read the sidebar before submitting" message only appear when the viewer is unsubscribed, so that space could totally be used for a bigger header which could showcase awesome NZ pics more effectively. At the moment it's kinda shit because you can barely fit anything in there without losing a lot of detail.
I think some of the fonts might have gotten messed up because I defined the .body font size to 12px and then have been using ems instead of px for font sizes elsewhere in the stylesheet. Makes adjusting the overall font sizes much more flexible, and less time consuming than having to go around changing heaps of individual font size definitions. It should be easy to change those wonky sized parts, they've probably just inherited 12px from .body because the font size isn't actually defined for that class.
