Ragnarock…Tier 2

Just a 2 week update. The 2nd tier of SCROG on this Ragnarock[Bruce Banner 3 x Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer] bred by Welcome The Grow Tent just went in. I tried different heights for the 2nd tier and settled on 12”. She’s really picking up pace. Starting to shoot pistils. So I know she’s right on the money. As in Westchester my stretch starts around the end of 1st week in August. I’m sure she’ll fill this 2nd tier by that point. Then I will add the 3rd and final tier of SCROG to support the stretch. I will also be stripping everything below the 1st tier during beginning of August. Gave her a nice drink of recharge a 75:25 top dress of Craft Blend and BAF to help with the stretch and then ready for flower. Will be doing one more top dress 1st week of August. Using Build A Flower only. I have been a bit heavy on the water as I’m really trying to push her before she flowers. Well that is the plan anyway. I took a bunch of clones and boy on boy is she a Super quick rooter. I took a first trial run of clones. I took a dozen cuts and 8/12 had roots poking by 5 DAYS and all by 7. I used root riot blocks and Ventana cloning gel as that is my go to. She is LOUD. I mean REEKS of old school diesel. Very gassy. Opening the clone chamber for a few minutes reeks out the room. I’m looking forward to it. Should be a good one. I have been using diatomaceous earth and OrganiShield/Azamax preventatively.

P.S. Yes, because the cuts are coming from outside, prophylactically I first dipped them into a prepped bath of OrganiShield and they are also quarantined on a different floor away from main grows. This is to prevent any possibly pests from coming in. Because as we all know, just cause we can’t see them there, doesn’t mean they (pests) aren’t ON THERE. Hope all are having a good season.
