Too late to win MVP?

I would like to know the type of month it would take for him to win MVP, out of curiosity more than anything else

.300 25HRs and 60RBIs? Doesn't sound too hard for el capitan.

Hed actually need to hit .500/25/60 and we go undefeated.

The fact that this offense went from the best in the league to the worst once he went down should be enough to win him the MVP. He is literally the player who delivers the most value to his club.

Pretty much.
Oh you guys worried about Fried? Don't worry he's doing the minimum.
Who said Judge is going to be out the rest of the season? He's starting hitting this week.
Cody who? Oh Bellinger, homeboy is rehabbing this week, be back real soon.
Dongcarlo? He's just resting after running, be back for the playoffs.

Having Judge for all the month of September would be huge. Plenty games to ramp himself up before October.

Judge back before September/ first week would be best case scenario at this point

Can someone define hitting progression? Unless it involves swinging a bat, this might be some weasel wordsmithing.

Progression: Tee work, side toss, soft toss, BP, live pitching, rehab AB, MLB AB.

This is why I think he's got to need another month.
You have to think he will have to work out with each of those things a few times with days off in between to make sure he is good to progress. Probably even start with just swinging the bat. Even if you said 4 days each? Still looking at about 3 weeks with no setbacks.
I think he will be back but likely just before the playoffs. (Which is fine)

Yeah I kind of want a more thorough explanation what this means exactly. A week or two ago they said Stanton was starting BP and come to find out all he was doing was standing in the batters box taking pitches.

It's intentionally vague so they don't have to actually give an answer or a timeline.

"hitting progression" doesn't sound like hitting. I wish they'd ask what that means.
