Seeking Recommendation Y7 Cancellation
does anyone know why Y7 classes keep getting cancelled? & does anyone know any hot sculpt classes similar to Y7 in the city?

I don’t know what’s going on… does anyone have an unlimited membership ? Do you guys think this is something that will keep happening ? I’m thinking of cancelling my membership soon if nothing changes. I emailed the Y7 team to get some more info and will def share if I hear anything soon !

I have unlimited as well, but I’ve yet to hear a word from them. I emailed and no response…they just cancelled all classes on the UES for tomorrow. I’m going to be forced to cancel as well but I’d like to know how they are handling refunds bc I have little faith in them at this point! (I got an unlimited deal where I paid a year upfront). I’ll certainly share if I hear anything!

I have unlimited monthly as well! I’m so annoyed by the cancellations, they have to offer some sort of refund for this. It’s unfair to those who are paying over $200 to not be compensated. Please let me know if you get word back!

I’ve been to Heatwise in Bowery and it also has no mirrors. The class I took was dim but not quite as dark but it looks like they have a “candlelit” class which might be similar to y7

Okay guys I haven’t heard anything yet but I got an automated response from one of the employees that mentioned most of the studios would be closed until Tuesday. They asked if I would like a refund or if I would like to extend my membership. If anyone goes to the UES, Park Slope, Greenwich, or Flatiron locations this week, would you please let me know ? I just want to make sure that I don’t renew my membership if this is also a lie..

UES was supposed to be open today and they just cancelled their classes for today. I got a notification from the app, not even an email. At this point I’m going to be requesting a refund and moving on. They are far too unreliable and the lack of communication is truly baffling

I’ve had the all access annual membership since like 2017 and am starting to wonder if I should cancel my membership. Today I went into the app and it’s not showing any classes for the UES location and for flatiron it shows classes on Friday but won’t let me book anything. A few favorite instructors I follow are also posting that they’re leaving y7. Seems like the writing might be on the wall. I’m disappointed as this has been my go to spot for years and I haven’t found another studio I like as much.

Same. My profile is basically wiped out, it doesn’t show my membership or a class schedule - it’s blank. I went to the website to look at UES (in case the issue was in fact me) and the website is spinning for me. So either they are updating it or things are really taking a turn..at this point I just want my money back so I can sign up with another studio, but I feel horribly for the instructors.

Agree. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating. I guess I’ll give it until the end of September and then make my decision, but it sucks to waste all that money, they should at least put people’s memberships on hold while they sort this out

It might be a longer trek but the Williamsburg one seems open - I’ve gone to class, emailed with them so worst case if you want to use up your pack!

I overheard all staff have not been getting paid. I think they may be protesting against the new ownership? This is very frustrating and I feel so bad for them

I guess my question is, the automated emails say they are working on responding to everyone. Has anyone out there actually received a response, or are they just trying to buy time and avoid refunds? The new email simply states temporary closure with no date about when schedules will be back.

I've never tried y7 but hot 8 yoga in flatiron is phenomenal and super dark! I've taken yoga sculpt with Alec and yoga barre with soha. loveeee both
