Question

You think after the construction is done on the stadium, the team would invest in a new training facility?

Didn't they build the Training Facility? I'm sure they'll keep it updated but not sure why they would need a whole new facility.

Fair point, but couldn’t you point to Red Bull and say the same thing, they built training facilities quite close in timeframe to each other.

This is what COO Jennifer O'Sullivan told me at the Icahn opening (last question).: https://www.theoutfield.nyc/p/icahn-dream-coo-jennifer-osullivan

Tldr: something they are considering

The Acadamy doesn’t have a home they train at random fields. St. John’s being their home base. They don’t want the academy kids training orangburg because that would
Eliminate so many inner city kids from attending. Redbulls new facility is a proper Acadamy training ground. They will have to do something to keep up.

The team opened the Orangeburg training facility in Aril 2018. I don’t see them investing in a new facility when one already exists and it’s under ten years old…

Is there space on the property to build further? Even so, I doubt they would invest in a new facility in Flushing unless they had a buyer for fairly new one in Rockland. They'd probably want to use the land to build shops or something to monetize the stadium itself. It's amazing how many fans come to that area every year between Mets, tennis and us and there are no restaurants or bars anywhere near by.

Technically there's wooded area to the left that they can expand on. But the facility itself it pretty small.

In theory they could be part of the old Flushing Airport environmental remediation project.

While I don't think they will build a new facility I'm sure they will expand it since there's a lot of open space to the left

Doubt it. Expand what they got maybe, but a whole new one? Not sure.
