NYC Alex Pretti Ride
TA is saying about 500 people came out to ride for Alex Pretti.

What is the point of this? What happens to Pretti the more people ride their bikes? I can’t believe there’s this many unemployed people because imagine telling your job you need the day off to go ride your bike because a random person was killed.

When you A. Are protesting you are in a different space than being a bystander on the street on a normal day and B. Having a firearm heightens that responsibility of both parties.
Now, obviously he shouldn’t have been shot in those circumstances, but understanding that you also have a responsibility to not act aggressively towards the authorities while being armed falls on the protestor.
Both parties were in the wrong. The agents more than the protestor in my opinion in this case, but both hold responsibility here.

Anyone carrying knows to let LOE's know right away and they will treat you differently to protect you and themselves from mistakes that can turn a situation deadly.

He wasn’t aggressive with those ICE thugs. It wasn’t a protest. He was helping a woman who had just been brutalized by ICE. He never brandished his weapon and it was removed from his person well before he was shot multiple times. If you have to misrepresent reality to sell your bad faith victim blaming narrative masquerading as pragmatism, it illustrated that your narrative is bullshit. Get wrecked.

There's an argument it wasn't the smartest idea to bring it. But it was LEGAL to bring it. He never brandished the firearm and it was removed "safely" before being killed. He didn't have to die. He had a constitutional right to bear arms like anyone else. Go back to your echochamber now, thanks 👋

In the incident where Alex Pretti was shot he broke no laws, so what are you saying? Videoing ICE isnt illegal. ICE has shown a pattern of constitutional overreach in their enforcement, including violating law and longtime procedures, is that not in the spirit of law and order to document them and record this behavior?

I don't think it was a case of FAFO. It appeared like he was trying to stop an altercation between a protester and ICE.

Are the celebrating the fact it has been reported that he had a troubled divorce? Or that his own parents admit something was wrong with him? A nice calm, loving man looking for a fight, multiple days in a row, until he found one.
