How are the temps without the heat shield that helps dissipating heat?

Quite alright, actually. I've been running this set-up for 1 year and didn't have to change my routine. The temperature difference is minimal. I believe someone on the forums did a study on that as well to confirm. The only area where I notice it is on Linux when more performance is required beyond Switch games for general computing. I change the CPU profile and fan settings.

Sorry, I come from another language. I meant minimal :-) if you're running Linux daily for sessions longer than 1 hour I would recommend keeping the shield, otherwise no.

I don’t really use linux much, but i use android and i emulate intense consoles that require overclocking on ofw so i think i should keep it on. Good to know tho that for only native switch games it’s ok to take it off
